In the Mirror of Time: A Glimpse Back to Us
Suddenly, I clicked on the playlist that reminds me of you.
It’s been a while; I no longer open up these things.
Then I clicked ‘play,’ and all the memories came rushing into my head — wild and vivid.
The way you used to drink your coffee,
the way you walked beside me,
the shoes you used to wear — they were blue.
I still remember how you whispered in my ear, ‘See you again.’
I still pass by the street where we used to walk,
stay in the coffee shop where we used to talk,
and take the train route that we used to ride.
That night, when I looked into the train’s mirror,
I was afraid that my eyes would meet yours.
I chose to focus on the outside,
but I regret not looking into your sleepy yet beautiful eyes.
Every corner of this city is a reminder of you,
And every corner of my mind is filled with thoughts of you
